A Growing Groundswell

1985

Nathan Rustein begins by explaining that happiness is a human right. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá often asked us: “Are you happy?” Tells the story of a Bahá’í Community gripped by sadness. Mr. Rutstein explains why he thinks happiness and the fear of God are related. Told how Louis Gregory and a white Bahá’í went teaching in the deep south during a time when racial hatred was at a peak. Told another story about a non-Bahá’í couple who weren’t married. He drank. She was married to another man. She became pregnant. He describes what happened when they encountered Baha’u’llah and the fear of God.
