The question of peace has been raised repeatedly since the International Peace Congress of 1843. Since that time 14 decades have passed and hopes have been raised because we know, we must create peace. In the modern times we follow many international peace makers such as the Geneva Peace Conferences, London has a Peace Bureau and UN also works for peace.
Dr. Rodrigo Corazo begins the panel by speaking about the University for Peace. He speaks in Spanish, with English translation in between. He first defines what exactly the University of Peace is? The concept of how such a University came about because the people of Costa Rica felt that education is a fundamental necessity for Peace.
