In Part 2 of the “Pattern of Baha’i Life” Hand Featherstone continues with the importance of spriritual qualities to the creation of a "Divine Civilization". Teaching the Cause of God is a very important aspect of achieving the goals of the Faith.

Mr. Featherstone’s gives his talk in English, a translator renders his English into Persian between pauses. The first nine minutes are consumed by Mr. Featherstone’s reading of the 2 June 1982 message of The Universal House of Justice to the Friends gathered at the International Conference in Dublin.
He reviews statistics pertaining to the number of Baha'is and their localties. He laments at the "declining condition" of the Faith in Europe. He appeals to the Friends to arise.
