Mr. Khadem explained that God uses the Messengers to bring man from darkness into light. Man has been prepared and encouraged to prepare himself for this greatest day of God: The day of the Lord, Baha'u'llah.

Hand of the Cause of God, Zikrullah Khadem, recounts many moving experiences in the presence of the Shoghi Effendi and recounts some special assignments given him by "the Beloved Shoghi Effendi". A number of Hands of the Cause are discussed on this recording and their special qualities and accomplishments. He mentions in particular the writing of Hand of the Cause of God George Townshend.
Hand of the Cause of God, Zikrullah Khadem, explains that he was asked to speak about his pilgrimage during the time of Shoghi Effendi’s ministry. Mr. Khadem went on pilgrimage seven times; his first was in 1925. At one time the Guardian gave him permission to come on pilgrimage any time he wished. He tells of miracles performed by the Guardian that he was part of. During his talk Mr. Khadem refers to himself as unworthy “humble dust”.
Everything we have today in this world and in the Baha'i community is from the sacrifice of Bahá’u’lláh and his followers. Hand Khadem then told his wonderful experiences that he had with The King of Samoa. He said: "The day I arrived the news reached us that the King of Samoa is in London; I managed to see him. His heart was so attracted to the beloved Shoghi Effendi he told us "Everything the Cause has is because of his labors". He told at the someone the reason of his coming to London was to see and give respect to the beloved Shoghi Effendi at his Resting Place.
Hand of the Cause Zikrullah Khadem address the "Peace" that Baha'u'llah has brought to the world. In all religions all the messengers of God spoke of the Day of God, the Day of Baha'ullah. He will make the whole universe anew. Mr. Khadem quoted prophecies fulfilled by the Bab and Baha’u’llah from the Bible. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, and the mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
From the beginning of the recording nearly one hour is taken up introducing new youth believers who declared at this gathering. Next to be introduced were youth pioneers from around the world who were present. Finally those youth were had already made some commitment to pioneer were invited up on stage. A speaker reviewed the message of the House of Justice of October 1983 in which the Office of Social and Economic Development at the World Centre was calling for youth to arise to pioneer in two projects, one in Latin America and another in Africa.
This interview takes place on September 19, 1981. Details of Mr. Khadem's early life is reviewed. Especially of interest are details of face-to-face interactions of Mr. Khadem with Shoghi Effendi, Guardian of the Bahá'í Faith.
Hand Khadem praises the music. Tells stories of Bahá’u’lláh in Bagdad and how the Friends sometimes sang all night. The Hand chants part of a poem by the illustrious Nabil, author of the Dawn-Breakers. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá was very fond of chanting, and when the beloved Shoghi Effendi was in England he taught the Friends there some Persian chants. Again, the Hand reprises one of these chants. Quotes Bahá’u’lláh on the high station of those who, in their youth, become enchanted with Bahá’u’lláh and His Cause.
The beloved Shoghi Effendi tells us everything in the Cause is new and wonderful. Baha’u’llah has said "The earth is but one country mankind is citizens". “The unity of the human race, as envisaged by Bahá’u’lláh, implies the establishment of a world commonwealth in which all nations, races, creeds and classes are closely and permanently united, and in which the autonomy of its state members and the personal freedom and initiative of the individuals that compose them are definitely and completely safeguarded.
