Dr. Duane Dumbleton

Dr. Dumbleton appeared in the Ebony Magazine reprint in 1965. He’s currently a member of the Bahá’í National Race Unity Committee for the USA. He then introduces his fellow panelists: Dr. Steven Yamamoto; Mr. Charles Young; and Ms. Hermione Pickens. Some quotations from the Bahá’í Writings are read to set the tone and background for the presentation. He makes the case that the struggle to overcome racism is at the heart of the goals of unity and peace. Reference to the current state of affairs in South Africa is made. He explains how Bahá’í Covenant relates to peace and unity.
