Mr. Claudius Adebayo, from the National Treasurer’s Office, explains that he became a Bahá’í at Green Lake “in this very room 12 years ago”. So it is an emotional homecoming for him. He goes over some recent changes in the Treasurer’s Office and some other things that can be anticipated in the future. For one thing the Office is trying to get away from “giving you negative financial” reports. Since 1972 our budget has more than tripled. He explained how the budget is made and the fund goal determined. We have more than 120,000 Baha'is,but we can't locate some 50.000 of them.They are always moving without providing new addresses. 'Abdu'l-Baha' said America would lead the world spiritually. The United States is the most glorious country in the world. We Baha'is must contribute to the fund of the Faith as much as possible. We are doing important service to change the world by sharing our wealth. We should appreciate our special relationship with Bahá'u'lláh and Abdu'l-Bahá.
